1. Build Your Team
Every great custom home starts with alignment. We bring together Starwood, your architect, and your designer early so your vision, lifestyle, and expectations are clear from day one.
2. Decide on a Budget
We establish the full financial picture upfront: Lot/site, home, and key variables. That way, the vision and investment stay aligned. This is also when you secure financing with preferred lenders and sign the Pre-Construction Service Agreement to begin planning the right way.
3. Lot Site Acquisition
If you don’t already own land, we help you evaluate options and select the right property. The lot influences everything. Design, views, feasibility, and cost. So we treat this step with serious care.
4. Architectural Design
This is where your home takes shape. We guide the design phase through preliminary plans, pricing alignment, key selections, and schedule planning. The project stays clear, buildable, and intentional.
5. Contract Signing
Once design and budget are aligned, we formalize the build. This step includes financing, appraisal, and construction contract signing, so everyone moves forward with clarity and confidence.
6. Pre-Construction
Before the first day of construction, the project must be fully planned and prepared. We manage permits, HOA approvals, and trade partner selection, ensuring the build starts clean and stays on track.
7. Construction
This is where vision and planning become reality. You’ll receive progress updates and weekly meetings with your project management team, along with the craftsmanship and quality control Starwood is known for.
8. Move-In
We finish strong. You’ll complete a final detailed inspection and walkthrough, ensure every detail is addressed, and step into a home where you can live your dreams.
